Heartland. Een nieuwe True North! Ik was super enthousiast. Dylan. Super benieuwd, want ik heb nog niet veel over Dylan gelezen, behalve dat hij Griffins kleine broertje is. Dus met veel enthousiasme begin ik hieraan.

Dylan… oh, Dylan…
Ik had altijd twee favorieten in de True North series. Griffin en Jude. De rest van de mannen vond ik ook leuk, maar waren gewoon niet mijn favoriet. Nu heb ik er drie. Dylan is zeker een van mijn favorieten. Wat een schat van een joch. Hij hangt de stoere playboy uit, maar er zit zoveel meer in hem en ik vind het echt ontzettend mooi dat Chastity dat al die tijd al in hem ziet.
Dit verhaal is echt een slow burn en ik vind het super gedaan, want als dat anders was gegaan, had het niet geklopt. Je leert langzaam steeds meer Dylan kennen, terwijl Chastity vanaf pagina een al duidelijk is.
En dan die vriend van Dylan. Rickie. Man, die gast was superleuk. Ik hoop dat hij ooit een eigen boek krijgt. Hij had echt geweldige inzichten.
Tijdens het lezen van Heartland heb ik gehuild en gelachen en tjonge, zowel Griff als Dyl worden zo verkeerd begrepen. Het deed pijn aan mijn hart. Er zit echt een scene in en dat is mijn favoriet. Die staat me nu nog duidelijk voor de geest, maar ik zeg niets, want ik wil het niet verpesten voor jullie.
Dit boek is voor mij echt een mooie nieuwe toevoeging aan True North en behoort tot een van mijn favorieten in de serie.
Conclusie
Eentje om aan mijn rijtje met favorieten toe te voegen.

Dylan … oh, Dylan …
I always had two favorites in the True North series. Griffin and Jude. I liked the rest of the men as well, but just weren’t my favorite. Now I have three. Dylan is certainly one of my favorites. What a treasure of a kid. He plays the tough playboy, but there is so much more in him and I think it is really beautiful that Chastity has seen that in him all along.
This story is really a slow burn and I think it was great, because if it had been different, it wouldn’t have been right. You slowly get to know more Dylan, while Chastity is already clear from page one.
And then Dylan’s friend. Rickie. Man, that guy was super fun. I hope he will get his own book someday. He had really great insights.
While reading Heartland I cried and laughed and boy, both Griff and Dyl are so misunderstood. It hurt my heart. It really has a scene and that is my favorite. I still remember it clearly, but I’m not saying anything, because I don’t want to ruin it for you.
For me, this book is a really nice new addition to True North and one of my favorites in the series.
Conclusie
I loved it. Another addition to my favorites.
