Ninth Circle. Treachery. Also known as Tanner Caine.
He is a temptation with cold, dark eyes. A man with a seductive smirk and a body built for pure sin. The linchpin of a group of wealthy bad boys known as the Inferno.
A dark presence that repels as much as he attracts, Tanner is the poisoned apple I want to bite even when I know it will destroy me.
Our story started in college, but I ran from him so far I believed I was safe. I should have known he’d find me eventually. I should have known that nobody escapes.
He has me in his sights again with an offer I can’t pass up. I know better than to make a deal with the Devil. Not unless I’m willing to pay his sensual price…
(Treachery Prequel comes before Treachery of the Antihero Inferno Series and occurs during the college years.)
***Each novel in the series depicts a unique romance, but the plots through each book connect in one world. For the best experience, read the series in order.
Nine dangerous men. Nine unrepentant sinners you’ll hate to love. Nine Full Length Standalone novels.

Writing style

Everyone knows by now that I love Lily. I love her books and her writing style is wonderful. Her books are unique and the emotions are raw. It is written so beautifully.

This short novella was a simple introduction between Luca and Tanner. Explosive. Strange. Tension. So much information and so many feels already.

“Our fathers days are numbered. They just didn’t know it. All nine of us were biding our time, waiting until all the factors were in place for us to retire the generation above us so we could take over. Until then, we did as we were told.”

An introduction for Luca and Tanner. I loved being introduced to two characters in this way. So painfully awkward, the hate between them and so much attraction betwee them. The rest of the Inferno Boys were a delight to meet. Luca spit their horrible character traits and nicknames all over the book like they were poison.

Tanner was known as Teachery. An asshole, a predator and the man who loves to play games.
Luca was exactly as you think she is. Sweet, a hardworking student and absolutely did not interfere with people like Tanner.

The Inferno boys were their father’s muppets. Listened to everything they had to say. Their upbringing was harsh and terrible. They struggled with emotions. Used everything they could use regardless of other’s feelings. It made them look like heartless bastards, but I do not believe they are.

But everything in Tanners world had a reason and that means the first meeting with Luca too. They hate each other but were also drawn to each other. All they got was a great night together.
Whatever Lily was doing, she did a good job because I wanted to read the first book right away.
I totally want to read their second book.

“Nine ruthless men. Nine unrepentant sinners. Nine irresistible manipulators that would do you a favor if you promised to pay the price.”
