Writing Tracker

I want to keep track of the word progress of my novels. Yes I write multiple at a time. But how do I keep track on paper? That was the question.

What do I want?

Recently I was thinking about how I could easily keep track of the progress of my books on paper. I was googling a bit, but only found habit trackers. Well, I don’t want to know if I write every day (because I already know that, because I do).

What did I make?

I made a nice background and I put boxes on it. I clustered these nicely together in groups of 10. In total there are 90 boxes on the paper.

Each box is worth a 1000 words. 1 cluster of 10 boxes is worth 10,000 words. I have added this everywhere. 10k, 20k etc. So you can easily see at a glance how many words are in a book. I then printed this out on my format (Happy Planner) and punched it. Then I could put it in my planner and I can now immediately see how many words I have.

What do I have for you?

The freebie on this page is a printable writing tracker for you. At the top where in my case Conflict & Structure is, it is still empty for you. Furthermore, all boxes are on it. You can print it as many times as you want.
The zip package contains an A4, A5, American Letter, Happy Planner and Erin Condren format. Choose your size and print it out. Cut holes in it and you’re ready!

How do you get that tracker?
If you sign up for the newsletter or are already a member, you will receive a code from me so that you can access the freebies. These are behind a closed page and you can just click on the homepage, or the picture below.
You can download it there!
