Fallon meets Ben, an aspiring novelist, the day before her scheduled cross-country move. Their untimely attraction leads them to spend Fallon’s last day in L.A. together, and her eventful life becomes the creative inspiration Ben has always sought for his novel. Over time and amidst the various relationships and tribulations of their own separate lives, they continue to meet on the same date every year. Until one day Fallon becomes unsure if Ben has been telling her the truth or fabricating a perfect reality for the sake of the ultimate plot twist.
Can Ben’s relationship with Fallon—and simultaneously his novel—be considered a love story if it ends in heartbreak?
Beloved #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover returns with an unforgettable love story between a writer and his unexpected muse.
Warning: this book contains sex, drugs/alcohol or violence
Colleen writes very emotionally. She writes from the first person and from both characters. Her writing style is one that you fly through. The whole world and the characters come alive and I love it. It is raw, emotional and so much show. Very pretty!
My thoughts about November 9
This story was invented brilliantly. Fallon meets Ben on November 9, but her move is all that. But every year on November 9 they visit each other. They have that appointment and they stick to it.
A rollercoaster of emotions, this book takes you through everything Fallon and Ben go through. Especially with each other. How Fallon is in life and how Ben is there for her. And then there is really a huge twist. Well, it really took a long time before I even saw that coming.
Of course we cried again, because that’s how Colleen is. Another beautiful story that will last forever.
