I had a plan, and it was solid.
Track down what was hidden away and take pleasure in toying with it. Toying with her.
It worked like a charm.Until it didn’t.
Turned out, the feisty little thing I found was far from what I hoped for. She was different from all I knew and more than I expected.
She was light, and I’m the bastard who led her into darkness. But this girl... she followed with a smile.
I told her I break pretty things. She asked me to promise.

I couldn’t wait for Break Me. The fifth book in the Brayshaw series.
The cover fits really well with Royce’s book. The necklace has a meaning in the story and so I think this is a nice addition.
Meagan has a distinct writing style. Sometimes I have to double read a sentence because it is written in some sort of slang. Whatever they say, anyway.
I got sucked back into the world immediately. The way Meagan writes helps with getting back into it.
OMG Royce was the best.
I’m a Maddoc-girl, but was intrigued by Royce from the start and I wanted to know how his mind worked. And god, do I know now. I loved everything about him.
I really liked Brielle as well. I think I even prefer her over Raven.
The way the story slowly progressed really got me. Meagan is really good in the whole slow burn love thing and I love that. No instant love for her books, thank god. The way Royce slowly progressed with his attachment to Brielle was so perfectly done, I could cry. And Brielle just stayed Brielle. She didn’t change for no one. Not for Royce or anyone. She isn’t ashamed of who she is and she just stood up to him and understood him so well. It was puurrrrfect.
This fifth part was amazing and everything I hoped and dreamed for Royce. Thank you for making it like this, Meagan. You couldn’t have done it any better.
The Perfect Story for the most Imperfect Boy <3
Conclusion for Break Me
I loved it! Royce is everything I hoped he’d be!0
